Goryacheva T. L. Semenov's works within the context of Russian Literature at the end of the XIX - beginning of the ХХ century.

The subject of the dissertation is L. Semenov's works. The research objective is to present integrative analysis of L. Semenov's works in the context of ideological and artistic search of the end of the XIX - beginning of the ХХ century. The methods used in this research include: cultural-historical approach, methods of integrative, motive, comparative and typological, intertextual, mythopoetic analysis. The thesis presents an integrative analysis of L. Semenov's works. It explores originality of the poetic world of L. Semenov, the system of characters of his poetry and distinctive features of their functioning. Unknown texts have been introduced into the scientific circulation and more accurate information about the total number of his works has been given. The thesis investigates the phenomenon of "leaving" which is analyzed as socio-cultural act specific to the border of the centuries. It studies the impact of "leaving" on L. Semenov's literary works and the role it played in the changes of genre and theme priorities of the writer. It is proved that extraliterary events in L. Semenov's life were reflected in his creative works. Field - academic activities.
