Essay

The work deals with the development of technological basis of road bitumen production based on paraffin oil residuals. The dependence of tar properties obtained during paraffin oil processing on its group composition has been described. The triangular diagrams which describe the mentioned dependencies have been developed. Bitumen based on paraffin oil residuals was modified by oil refinery side-products and wastes, polymers and industrial modifiers. Using 20% of high-sulphuric residual and 5% of dark petroleum resin during joint oxidation with paraffin tar it is possible to produce the road tar.
