The dissertation is devoted to the research of psychological characteristics of gifted adolescents' self-knowledge development. On the basis of theoretical analysis the model of gifted adolescents' self-knowledge development is proved.The psychological peculiarities of gifted adolescents' self-knowledge development are experimentally identified. The levels (biological individual, social individual, personality) and the criteria (orientation, temporal characteristics, cognitive structure, direction of self-knowledge) of gifted adolescents' self-knowledge development are defined.
