DMYTRYCHENKO G. Geographical Indication Legal Regime in Ukraine as an Object of Industrial Property

The thesis is devoted to the research of general theoretical and applied aspects of the geographical indication legal regime as an object of industrial property, to the definition of current trends in the development of the geographical indication institute, to the development on this basis of evidence-based approaches and recommendations to improve the national system of geographical indications legal protection in Ukraine. The geographical indication legal regime is considered as a theoretical model (structure) of the legal order in a particular area of public relations to ensure the geographical indications protection. Additionally the problems of terminology of concepts relating to the subject of research are disclosed, the civil characteristics of geographical indication, its legal regime, the particular qualities of the geographical indication legal regime in Ukraine and prospects of its development.
