Essay

The research deals with the problem of the development and maintaining of ICT learning tools used in learning of mathematics of future engineers in the United States. It's substantiated a model of using information and communication technologies in teach mathematics engineering students U.S. at various stages of development of information and communication technologies. Analysis of the National Plan of educational ICT, issued U.S. Department of Education in 2010. We characterize the nature of convergence trends information system of higher engineering education with its other U.S. trends; defined the main historical and pedagogical stages of development of the theory and methods of use of ICT in teaching higher mathematics engineering students in the United States; the analysis of available ICT learning tools of mathematics, developers who have our scientists; reasonable possibility of using U.S. experience to improve the learning process of higher mathematics in technical universities in Ukraine; developed scheme using information and communication technology in learning higher mathematics engineering students in Ukraine, based on studied the U.S. experience; offered a special course "ICT learning tools in learning mathematics engineering students" which was used for the increasing qualifications of teachers mathematical disciplines technical universities and training of masters of mathematics, and takes into account the experience of the United States to use ICT learning tools in learning mathematics engineering students. In the study, it was found that the use of ICT (including online) in the fundamental training of future engineers in Ukraine will develop their mathematical intuition, deeper understanding of the material of the fundamentals of engineering, enhance learning activities in higher mathematics.
