Dissertation is sanctified to complex research and analysis of the legal adjusting of consumer relations in the sphere of retail business. A question is illuminated in relation to the concept of consumer legal relationships and becoming of institute of consumer right. Characterized legal signs of agreement of retail business, his subjects, object, right and duties parties. The concepts of quality of commodity are determined in economic and civil legal values, order of her normative fixing. The law consequences of offtake of improper quality, methods of defense of the broken rights a customer, order of their realization, are illuminated. Set forth theoretical conclusions in relation to legal nature of institute of consumer right, elements of agreement of retail to the purchase-sale, concept of improper quality of commodity, correlation of concepts "methods of defense", "law consequences of violation of obligation", "measure of responsibility". The offered recommendations are about perfection of corresponding norms of Civil Code of Ukraine and Law "About the protection of consumers", sent to the increase of efficiency of protection of rights for buyers-consumers.
