The dissertation is devoted to the task - studying the influence of vertebrogenic compression of the vertebral artery on haemodynamic parameters of vessels of the head and neck. It is established that the majority of patients with vertebral compression of the vertebral artery (86.59%) have not hemodynamic disturbances in extracranial segment of the vertebral artery or have local hemodynamic differences, fully compensated in intracranial segment and the basilar artery. Only 13.41% of the patients revealed differences in hemodynamic extracranial level, accompanied by a decrease in asymmetry and peak systolic blood flow velocity in intracranial level. A low information content of the tests (rotate, skew and throwing the head) in the diagnosis of stress vertebrogenic compression of the vertebral artery is shown. Patients with vertebral compression of the vertebral artery revealed changes diameter of the vertebral artery at the level of segment V1 and V2 segment different areas within 20-30%. Designed arterial vertebral-carotid index allows to calculate the proportion of blood flow in the vertebral artery in the inflow of blood to the head and neck. The technique of determining the outflow of venous blood from the head and neck by ultrasound duplex scanning is elaborated. Designed venous jugular-vertebral index allows to calculate the proportion of blood flow in the vertebral veins in the outflow of blood from the head and neck. It is proven tract outflow of venous blood from the head and neck of the patient's position by ultrasound duplex scanning.
