Yarmolenko H. The typology system of images inUkrainian historical prose of the first half of the ХІХ сentury.

In this dissertation complexly the typology system of imagesin the Ukrainian historical prose of the first half of the XIX century is in vestigated. In this work firstly the specific of images in the Ukrainian historical prose of the XIX century is analyzed and two its types are identified. First type - the images of the real historical persons in the art interpretation of the writers. The second type of images represent heroes, that illustrate the outlook of the epoch. These images do not have historical prototypes, but absolutely correspondent with type of hero of the certain time. In this dissertation the novels of Vasyl Narizhnyj, Orest Somov, Pavlo Biletskij-Nosenko, Hrihorij Kvitka-Оsnovjanenko, Jevgen Grebinka, Мykola Gogol, Pantelejmon Kulish are investigated. In general in this way the romantic type of the Ukrainian national hero is represented. Firstly in the Ukrainian science of literature in this dissertation the images of the Ukrainian society and the image of Cossack in the historical prose of the first half of the XIX century are investigated.
