Dissertation deals with land market formation and its development under economic modernization and considers recommendations for improving governmental regulation of land relations. Also, evaluation mechanism for land market functioning is suggested. Dissertation considers essence and key factors of land market formation; specific role of land as an core economic resource and special market good; theoretical approaches to land market analysis in economic reproduction and land market as a redistribution mechanism for land ownership. Major factors and conditions of land market formation as a final stage of land relations transformation are revealed. Essence and structure of land market are pointed out. Types and functions of land market are highlighted. Comparative analysis of land reforms in different countries is given. Analysis of current situation is provided and key contradictions are stressed for land reform in Ukraine. Specific institution frames for land market formation in national economy are considered. Recommendations for improving land relation regulation; for land market restriction for first five years; for efficiency evaluation of land market are suggested.
