The thesis study provides an overview of psychological structure of personality's stress resistance; determines the system of stress factors in professional and everyday life of research and academic staff. The pedagogical notion of 'stress resistance in research and academic staff of institutions of higher education' was provided a more in-depth definition. Psychological technology of developing stress resistance in research and academic staff was proposed and tested. Effectiveness of technology of combining diagnostic, interpretation and correction work for analytical and synthetic approach toward personality was experimentally confirmed.
