Essay

The thesis provides a comprehensive theoretical analysis of art. 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (supply and providing undue advantage to an official). The author analyses norms of international instruments relating to criminal liability for active bribery of officials; investigated the genesis of the provisions of national legislation on criminal liability for active bribery. Also author provides definitions of specific object of official crimes and the direct object of the crime under Art. 369 of the Criminal Code. The necessity of combining offers, promises and giving undue advantage to one offense under Part 1 of Art. 369 of the Criminal Code.
