The dissertation is devoted to the formation of knowledge of local history of the individual primary school children by means of regional local lore material. In this investigation the level of knowledge and interest of students about using in their own speech regional local lore material is established. The program of experiment was subordinated main goals and objectives of the formation of national focused language personality; to formation of interest to local lore material of the pupil as carrier of regional features.
