The thesis is devoted to the systematic chemical-toxicological research of antidiabetic drug metformin. Individual methods of metformin isolation from biological objects have been developed. Sensitive and specific conditions of metformin and its derivate identification with reagents in vitro, chromatographic (TLC, HPLC) and spectral (UV-, IR-, NMR-spectroscopy) methods have been developed. Methods of quantitative determination of metformin with instrumental methods of analysis have been developed. Based on research the scheme of directed chemical-toxicological analysis of biological objects at metformin have been proposed.
