Subaeva K. Psychopathological and pathopsychological particularities of affective disorders in convicted young men

In the course of the work 552 convicted men from 18 till 25 year old are served a sentence in the detention facilities of Kharkiv Region have been investigated. Average age of the examined prisoner is 21.3 year. The investigation has conducted in 2 stages. The 1st stage has done as a psychodiagnostic screening that allow to separate the personalities with high level of anxiety scale index and predispositions to depressive reactions. At the 2nd stage clinical-psychopathologic, clinical- anamnestic, psychodiagnostic investigation among this cohort has been conducted. A science-based and pathogenesis reasoned psychocorrection programs for the convicted persons with the affective disorders are differentiated according to the type of the detention facilities have been designed. A general principle is a staged implementation of individual and group psychocorrection techniques depending on the clinical specificity and motive formation factors of the psychopathological anxiety and depressive features, the individual characteristics of the inmates and their maintenance regime. Their effectiveness is proved by the repeated complex research.
