Essay

In the dissertation the problems of formation and development of customs authority of the South of Ukraine by the example of their organization and activity in Taurida province are investigated. In the work defines that the legal basis of activity of the customs authority, later spread on the lands of Taurida province, were laid in the beginning of XVIII century. An important role in the activity of customs authority played established in 1782 customs border guards.
