Kobys V. Optimization of combined treatment of children with osteogenic sarcoma

The thesis is devoted to the justification of the usefulness of treatment regimens in children with the OS, and treatment of high-dose chemotherapy maintenance, replacement of large joints. The method of combined treatment with neoadjuvant chemotherapy and its correction based on the results of interim monitoring of the effectiveness of chemotherapy and morphological methods was developed. It was established that currently the most adequate level of surgical interventions in children with OS is resection of the affected bone with replacement of the defect with autograft fibula in the vascular pedicle in the cases of diaphyseal tumor and extension endoprosthesis replacement of large joints in the cases of epimetaphyseal tumor.
