Object of study - crops in the period from sowing to germination; goal - to assess the impact of agro-meteorological conditions on the cereals seedlings formation (on the maize example) through simulation of grain crops in the early stages of ontogeny; methods - laboratory experiments, methods of mathematical modeling of the production process in the early stages of plant ontogeny, statistical analysis of the influence peculiarities of agro-meteorological conditions on the cereal crops seedlings formation; results - the dynamic model of cereal crops seedlings formation is developed, the estimation of the seeds moisture accumulation dynamics, hydrolysis of endosperm reserves and intensity of coleoptile growth depending on environmental conditions is made, the influence of agro-meteorological conditions on the cereal crops seedlings formation, the terms of their emergence and capacity is estimated, the method of determining the emergence duration and germination capacity of cereal crops is proposed; novelty - a comprehensive study and simulation of processes that occur in seeds during the germination and the cereal crops seedlings formation (on the maize example) and assessment the impact of agro-meteorological conditions on the seed moisture accumulation and coleoptile elongation; degree of implementation - introduced; industry of the use - hydro-meteorological centers, research institutes.
