Essay

Object: physiological and biochemical processes taking place in sugar corn under various technological methods and ties between abiotic factors and the level of realizing the biological potential of varieties and hybrids. Aim: elaboration and improvement of technology elements of cultivating sugar corn that ensure receiving high economic and energy indices of production. Methods: field and laboratory-field; measuring and weighing; statistical calculative. Results: the optimum varieties composition (Spiryt F1, Bold F1, Bonus F1), which ensure the productivity of cash corn heads at the level 4,8-5,7 t/ha, production profitability - 102-125 %, and the coefficient of energy efficiency -2,6 - 3,06; is determined; the optimum terms of seeds sowing and planting seedlings for conveyor production (from the 1st to the 3d decade of May with the interval 7-10 days) that favour receiving the positive economic and energy indices, particularly crop productivity - 2,2 - 4,5 t/ha, production profitability - 3-67 % and the coefficient of energy efficiency - 1,23-1,97 are defined; the application of densy sowings (with vegetable haricot and peas); which allow to get not only the main but also additional production from the area unit, at the level of profitability 95-122 % and coefficient of energy efficiency - 1,53-1,67 are grounded.
