Essay

It was found that in development of inflammation of small hole tissues of removed tooth there is activating of free-radical processes with an accumulation in the blood serum of active forms of oxygen, products of lipoperoxidation, oxidizing modification of proteins, which acquires the most expressed character in the period of maximal clinical signs of inflammation (on 5-th days) and is the basic factor of tissue damage. Forming of inflammatory process is accompanied with increase of superoxide dismutatase and catalase activity with decrease of maintenance in the blood serum of restored glutatione at height of most activity of lipoperoxidation (on 5-th days) and oppressing of these enzymes activity to near initial level and increase of glutatione maintenance (on 15-th days). In the period at height of inflammatory process increase concentration in the serum Ig M, Ig A and Ig G with accumulation of immune complexes disbalance pro- and antiinflammatory cytokines: TNF-?, IL-1, IL-6 and IL-10. Significant correlation between the production of proinflammatory cytokines TNF-?, IL-1?, IL-6 and prooxidant and antioxidant systems performance phagocytic activity of granulocytes and lipid peroxidation explains their important role in the initiation and progression of this disease. Thiotriasolini influence positively on that system and immune-cytokines status in this experimental condition.
