The Object of the study scientific work: processes of wetlands ecosystem services management and corresponding regulatory mechanisms. The Purpose scientific work consists of development and intensification of theoretical, methodological and applied foundations of organizational and economic basis of the wetlands ecosystem services management in the context of sustainable development. Research methods and techniques: systematic and structural, abstract and logical, economic and statistical, comparative, groupings, settlement and analytical, graphical. Theoretical and practical results: the results are methodological approaches, practical guidance on the formation of organizational and economic basis of the wetlands ecosystem services management; proposals for the development and implementation of payments for wetlands ecosystem services, selecting management strategies and determining the economic value of the wetlands ecosystem services. Novelty: it is substantiated the theoretical and methodological approach to forming organizational and economic mechanism of wetlands ecosystem services management, based on consideration of the strategies, resources and other organizational and economic instruments; improved classification criteria definitions of ecosystem services types that are in addition to existing ones, define the following types: the stages and causes the dynamics of wetland ecosystems, types of beneficiaries of ecosystem services and forms of their needs, the term of implementation and the level of legitimacy of ecosystem services use, the degree of contribution to the welfare; the theoretical and methodological foundations of systematization and decomposition of strategies of wetlands ecosystem services management within which the author, in contrast to existing types of strategies defined on grounds of capacity and complexity of ecosystem services; improved methodological provisions for the formation of organizational and economic of wetlands ecosystem services management tools based on the relevant payment system; it is received further development of substantial basis of the definition "wetlands ecosystem services"; it is received the further development of scientific substantiation of methodological approaches to the formation of the system of payments for wetlands ecosystem services, which is in contrast to the existing definition is based on the form of payment, the characteristics of the organizational and economic relations between buyers and sellers of ecosystem services, a method of obtaining payments for ecosystem services.
