Preys N. Optimization of differential diagnosis and treatment of diffuse and complicated diabetic macular edema

Object: diffuse and complicated DME (different types) in case of diabetes mellitus type 2. Purpose: to increase the efficacy of diffuse and complicated diabetic macular edema (occlusive and nonocclusive) diagnosis and treatment in patients with DM type 2. Methods: general, ophthalmological, immunological; Roth Apparatus, slit lamp, fundus camera, scanner. There were expanded scientific data concerning importance of immunological responses in patients with DME of different types as follows : increase number of Ig-A to 3.0 g / l. Scientific data were added by features of autosensibilization's state to retinal antigens, as evidenced by an autosensibilization increase with increasing severity of edema. It was found that foveo - center ratio < 1.0 at occlusive DME. A differential diagnostic criteria was offered for differential diagnosis of diffuse and complicated DME, which can used to determine the PER detachment presence / absence. The established efficacy of the proposed method of diffuse and complicated DME treatment was established with additional applications of tsytoflavin and tsykloferon.
