Stryzhak A. Opportunistic behavior in a market economy: the essence, content, regulation

Object of research: processes of opportunistic behavior of subjects of economic activity. Purpose of research: development of methodology of research of limitation of opportunistic behavior in a market economy. Methods of research: system-functional analysis, methods of generalization and scientific abstraction; classification-analytical method, methods of analysis and synthesis, interdisciplinary approach, economic analysis, statistical methods. Results: research and analysis of basic pre-conditions of origin of opportunistic behavior; ground of authorial determination "opportunistic behavior" as to the complex category: in economic, social, political, psychological and philosophical aspects; realization of analysis of instruments of institutional theory is in research of opportunistic behavior; development of conception of adjusting of opportunistic behavior of subjects of economic activity is in a market economy; research of institutes of adjusting of opportunistic behavior of subjects of economic activity; research and analysis of mechanisms of endogenous opportunism on the Ukrainian enterprises; realization of research of mechanisms of opportunistic actions at co-operating of firm with external contractors; ground of methods of opportunistic behavior of subjects of economic activity on a macro level; improvement of method of classification of opportunism of subjects of economic activity in transactions taking into account opportunism in explicit and implicit agreements. Novelty: conception of adjusting of opportunistic behavior of subjects of economic activity is first worked out in a market economy; the category-concept vehicle of opportunistic behavior is improved; the method of classification of opportunism of subjects of economic activity is improved in transactions on a classification sign "opportunism depending on the type of contract"; methodological principles of research of features of endogenous and exogenous opportunism got further development in the system of co-operation of managing subjects; classification of трансакционных costs of subjects of economic activity got further development in relation to protecting of them from opportunistic behavior; the theoretical ground of destructive consequences of opportunistic behavior of subjects of economic activity got further development.
