Essay

Object - wave processes of electromagnetic field formation by multi-band antennas based on fractal and quasi fractal structures. Purpose - development and investigation of multi-band low-gain linear and circular polarization antennas based on fractal structures by means of accurate electrodynamic analysis, experimental check of radiation and matching characteristics of the proposed modifications of quasi fractal antennas. Methods - the method of iterated function system, the method of integral equations, the method of moments using collocation method; calculation of radiation characteristics and computer simulation. Results - the mathematical model allowing to determine the electrodynamics characteristics of planar multi-band antennas, made on the basis of fractal structures, by numerical simulation method of integral equations is developed and substantiated; a new grid model of fractal planar multi-band antenna is developed; the method of determining the geometry of a multi-band planar antenna with a tilted screen is proposed; new types of planar multiband circular polarization antennas based on Sierpinski fractal structure and its modifications are proposed, as opposed to existing single-band antennas. Implementation - URANIS Ltd., LEDS Inc. (Toronto, Canada), Most.Inform Ltd., Engineer-technological decisions Ltd. Application - wireless access systems
