The thesis is a complex criminological study of violent offences against Ukraine police officers. The paper defines interdisciplinary nature of the problem regarding police officers' security. The paper presents major determinants and separate elements of the mechanism of committing violent offenses against police officers. The author formulates suggestions as to the further perfection of general social, special criminological and individual means of prevention and victimological prophylaxis of violent offences against police officers.
