Vyshkvarkova O. Extreme precipitation and their climatic features over Ukraine

The dissertation is dedicated to analysis of extreme precipitation and their climatic features over the territory of Ukraine. Using daily precipitation data from 28 meteorological stations of Ukraine in 1951 - 2005 the precipitation inequality, extreme precipitation levels and the number of extreme precipitation in Ukraine were estimated. There were obtained the patterns and quantitative estimations of their space changes in the study period and interannual-intrdecadal variability associated with global processes in the ocean-atmosphere such as North Atlantic oscillation, Pasific Decadal and Atlantic Multydecadal oscillations. Next, there were calculated and analyzed the features of space distributions of the future projections of extreme precipitation on mid- and long-term perspective in XXI century over the Ukraine.
