Aim: expansion of subject and compositional features by P.Romanov and exposure of of the main characteristic features of poetics in writer's small prose's subject and composition. For the first time short stories by P.Romanov in aspects of subject and compositional organisation are systimatically and fully analysed. In dissertation detailed analysis of poetics of subject and composition of writer's short stories are stated, which has not been into view of literary critics before. Methods: comparatively-historical, historically-functional. A sphere of use - high school.
