Species contents and immunosuppressive properties of fungi of Candida genus were surveyed in the present work-CVV agents as well as the influence of candidous mycotoxins on metabolic and functional status of vaginal epitheliocytes in vitro. CVV is a polyetiologic disease caused by some fungi species of Candida genus: C. albicans, C. tropicalis, C. pseudotropicalis, C. glabrata and C. krusei. In 79,4% cases CVV manifests itself as monoinfection, conditioned exclusively by C. albicans species, in 20, 6% cases-as mixed infection caused by association of two or three fungi species of Candida genus at compulsory participation of C. albicans species. The results of the present research enable to state that CVV is caused by different fungi species of Candida genus at dominating role of C. albicans. All etiologically significant agents of CVV possess immunosuppressive properties, expressed in ALA and AIA. At contact in vitro with vaginal epitheliocytes fungi supernatants of Candida genus, containing mycotoxins, cause the disorders of cell energetic supply, activate POL, cause insufficiency of enzymatic system AOP, stimulate secretion function and enhance apoptosis in the latter ones. All mentioned shifts have species dependant character and are more significant among supernatants of C. albicans cultures.
