Essay

The thesis is devoted to resolving theoretical and practical problems of studying juvenile mercenary violent criminal personality in Ukraine and the development of perspective methods for preventing this type of criminal violations considering determinative personality features and traits of juvenile delinquents. For this purpose the author has clarified the current condition of juvenile delinquent personality problem scientific development, particularly, it's criminological and psychological aspects, which are the basis for studying the personality of a juvenile delinquent, who commits mercenary violent crimes. The content and scope of criminal personality of this kind notion have been examined; the criminological analysis of juvenile mercenary violent delinquency's main quantitative and qualitative parameters and trends has been done. The socio-demographic, penal, moral and psychological blocks of juvenile mercenary violent criminal personality criminological characteristics have been highlighted and the typology of these delinquents has been developed on a complex differentiation criteria. The mechanism of various macro and micro factors' impact on criminogenic personality features and traits formation on the basis of in-depth analysis has been revealed. An overview of Ukrainian mercenary violent crime prevention general foundations with regard to the relevant offender's personal characteristics has been outlaid in the thesis. The results, received during a comprehensive study of juvenile mercenary violent criminal personality, were taken as a foundation of the proposed correction system for individuals, which express mercenary violent behavior trends and the conduct of minors, who have already committed any mercenary violent crime.
