Essay

This research focuses on criminal legal description of the abuse of power by persons who provide public services. The analysis of the relevant criminal law and its relationship with the main provisions of international instruments on combating and prevention of corruption. Essence concept of "public service" and determined group of people whose professional activity is connected with the provision of such services. Developed and suggestions and recommendations for improving the Law of Ukraine on criminal responsibility for abuse of power by persons who provide public services.
