Essay

The work оn the basis of the scientific achievements of domestic and foreign jurisprudence reveals the concept of the modern state form of government within the context of its volume. The proposed its own vision of the concept of a form of government through the inclusion of elements of the interaction of national and supranational institutions of power. Allocated and analyzed the existing form of government in the countries of Central Europe - the European Union and Ukraine. The study included constitutional reforms aimed at improving the system of government in the states of the region in the 2000s that allows to identify relevant trends and patterns. Model of governance revealed by functioning form of government: a mixed republic (Poland, Ukraine), parliamentary republic (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary). The basic directions of modernization of the forms of government in the countries of Central Europe, in particular, increasing legitimization major government institutions, improvement of the system of checks and balances, strengthening an independent judiciary.
