Kucher O. The formation of civic competence among profile students by the variable social science subjects

In dissertation the function of formation of civic competence of profile students is educated by the facilities of social science subjects. The problem of the formation of civic competence of profile students by the facilities of variable social science subjects, the methodical pattern of the formation of civic competence of profile students in the process of studying experimental integrated variable social science is elaborated. In dissertation the methodologist and didactic scientists approaches are analyzed, "civic competence", the main concept of the investigation, its structure and classification are analyzed. Maintenance of concepts "citizen", "competence", "capacity", "civic competence" is specified. The methodical conditions of the effective formation civic competence of profile students by the facilities of variable social science subjects theoretically proved and experimentally confirmed, namely: organization of composite combination of profiling possibility and make social and humanitarian education more competent; the usage of integrative technology and practical approach in creation of educational maintenance of variable social and humanitarian subjects; to use a reflection as pedagogical method in the process of variable social science teaching. The results of experimental research verified the effectiveness of method forming of civic competence of profile students. It is proved that the use of integrated variable subjects "Basic Foundation of Civic Studies" increases the level of civic competence of profile students on the assumption of selection and presentation of study material.
