Object of research: state youth policy in Ukraine. Purpose: is justification directions to improve the mechanisms of state youth policy in Ukraine and the development of recommendations for their implementation in the activities of public authorities. Methods: analysis and synthesis, historical, modeling, system approach, comparative analysis. Results: The improvement of the mechanisms of state youth policy in Ukraine. Novelty: the advisability of creating and determined the structure of the State Fund of Youth Investment; improved structural and functional structure of the organizational mechanism of state youth policy; further developed the conceptual and categorical apparatus in public administration, in particular, the refinement of the concept of "youth" and other activities Introduced in the General Directorate of Family, Youth and Sports of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration and Chuguevsky city council and its executive body. Fields of application: public administration, local government, training and retraining of civil servants, local government officials.
