Kravchuk O. Ecological-economic aspects of the energy crops market development for biofuel production

This paper deals with investigating and summarizing of theoretical approaches towards the energy crops market development for biofuel production. Ecological and economic advantages and contradictions on the energy crops market development for biofuel production have been identified, as well as international experience over formation and development of the market has been analyzed and summarized. Ecological and economic analysis of the current status and trends on the energy crops market development for biofuel production in Ukraine has been accomplished. This paper deals with methodical approach to determine an area level of self-sufficiency with foodstuffs, allowing to estimate a potential for the energy crops cultivation to produce biofuels. A model on the energy crops market development for biofuel production has been suggested. Interrelations between agricultural sector and energy market have been substantiated. Theoretical and methodological foundations of the biofuel cluster formation in the agricultural sector has been improved. А system of tools to stimulate the production of liquid biofuels with energy agricultural crops has been formed.
