Essay

The toxic effect of 7-hydroxycoumarin (7-HOC) depending on the dose and duration of exposure of laboratory animals in isolated and combined with ethyl alcohol is explored. Found that 7-HOC refers to low-toxic compounds. Acute intoxication of 7-HOC causes a disfunction of kidney. Following subchronic exposure 7- HOC has a dose-dependent effect on the rats with a primary lesion of the liver, kidney, small intestine. Feature of the toxic effect on the body is a disorder in lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, degenerative changes in the small intestine. In acute and subacute combined effect on the majority of the investigated parameters established independent type of combined action, in some cases - antagonism or potentiation.
