In the thesis formulated urgency of regeneration of cultural and historical environment heritage on the example of the Donbass region. Studied historical stages of formation and development of industrial settlements in the cities of Donbass. Developed the main directions in the field of regeneration of the historical and cultural environment of the cities. A model of regeneration cultural and historical environment of the industrial city developed on the basis of principles and methods. Developed socio-economic program of action that provides a comprehensive approach to solving the problem of regeneration, conservation and restoration of cultural and historical environment of the industrial city.
