Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development and scientific substantiation of methods for prevention of fibrotic lesions in pancreatic stump after pancreatic resection in animals with experimental chronic alcoholic pancreatitis. The activity of pancreatic stellate cells was estimated in experimental animals with chronic pancreatitis. An optimal scheme was proposed to prevent progression of chronic pancreatitis and the possibility of its application in the clinic was evaluated.
