Essay

The dissertation is devoted to improving the quality of productive oil reservoirs completion on the basis of the optimal drilling-mud compositions with surfactants. The modern technology and modern systems of mud to complete productive oil reservoirs were analyzed. The model and the criteria of optimal selection of mud compositions for productive oil reservoirs quality completion were improved. The two-step procedure for the selection of optimum mud formulations was offered. The influence of the most common surfactants in drilling on the index of interfacial tension was studied and their critical micelle formation concentrations were defined. Optimal biopolymer drilling-mud compositions for oil reservoirs completion were grounded by the minimum interfacial tension criterion. The rheological properties and the structure of biopolymer mud filtrates’ emulsions with oil of Milkivske and Buhruvativske fields were researched. The optimum surfactant composition was selected and industrial trial of biopolymer Biokar mud in the well was conducted.
