Rudoy S. The main diseases of the Red Cabbage and the justification of the system of protection of it in the Left-bank Forest-steppe of Ukraine

The results of research on study of the major diseases of Red Cabbage, their harmfulness and the justification of actions on limitation of their development are presented in the dissertation. The species composition of the pathogens of Red Cabbage of first and second years of cultivation and storage of the queen cells is established by the researches. The main sources of primary infection of diseases of Red Cabbage are determined. The level of infectious load in the growing technology of queen cells of Red Cabbage depending on irrigation methods is set. The compositional base mixture for pre-plantation processing of the seed cabbages with additional inclusion of fungicide and auxin is improved. The effectiveness of disinfectants against the pathogens of seed infection of Red Cabbage is established. The effective fungicide and plants growth regulator in the system of protection of seed plants are determined. The system of protection of Red Cabbage from major diseases, which contributes to the productivity of seeds to 66,6-80,8 %, reduction of their cost to 27,8-35,1 %, increasing of profitability of production to 49,2-69,1 % is developed.
