Essay

The dissertation research is devoted to the issue of the formation of the oral Ukrainian speech culture in students of non-philological fields of study in conditions of multiethnic surroundings. The essence of such concepts as "language", "speech", "the language culture", "the speech culture", speech communicative qualities, standard speech norm was investigated. The sociolinguistic analysis concerning the speech of the Transcarpathian people and its influence on the students' speech formation was carried out. The methodology of the students' oral Ukrainian speech culture formation was developed, the subject matter of which is to obtain the fundamental knowledge about the speech culture, the formation of the language, partially speech and communicative skills in the course of the professional speech activities.
