This dissertation is devoted to researching criminal responsibility for the illegal seizure of water resource lands in especially large sizes in the part of the social determination and elements of a crime (Art. 239-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The thesis examines the social determination of criminal responsibility for the illegal seizure of water resource lands in especially large sizes. The object and the subject of the crime with emphasizing the specific features of the latter are determined. The criminal act is researched, and the new forms of socially dangerous act are proposed. The subjective side and subject of the examined crime are described. Particular attention is given to researching the qualified features of this crime.
