Manokhina Y. Syntagmatic and paradigmatic relations of nouns with semantics of collectiveness.

Object - nouns with semantics of collectiveness; the aim is to identify the differential syntagmatic and paradigmatic relations of nouns with semantics of collectiveness in Ukrainian language, and specify their lexico-grammatical status; methods that are used: descriptive, analysis and synthesis, componential analysis, analysis of dictionary definitions, context-situational analysis, quantitative calculations, observation and solid sampling; novelty - for the first time the analysis of the peculiarities of combination of nouns with semantics of collectiveness with other lexemes in a linear location is carried out, synonymous, antonymous and hypero-hyponimic relations of nouns with semantics of collectiveness are defined and characterized; semantic, word-formation and syntagmatic peculiarities of the authorial nouns with semantics of collectiveness are specified, ideographical classification of nouns with semantics of collectiveness is created. The original scale of abstractness / concreteness of nouns with semantics of collectiveness that reflects the degree of the correlation between denotative and significative components in the meaning of noun is offered; results - the actual material, the main points and conclusions of the thesis can be used at the lexicographical practice and in the educational practice - university lecture courses, special courses and seminars on the morphology of modern Ukrainian language at the linguistic department; field - linguistics.
