Essay

The thesis is devoted to the investigation of psychological, social and economic deprivation; to studying the impact of the above types of deprivation on the efficiency of high school teachers' professional activity of the modern Ukrainian society. The essence and the main content of psychological deprivation as decreased capacity of human psyche functioning as a consequence of underdevelopment, underformation or destroying of certain mental parameters because of failure of a subject to satisfy certain needs necessary for his/her real or imaginary normal life activity and development; social and economic deprivation as the types of psychic deprivation have been revealed in the thesis. The functional psychological and pedagogical structure of the efficient professional activity of the scientific and pedagogical worker, which includes: 1) efficient management of the educational process; 2) totality of pedagogical knowledge, skills and qualities necessary for the efficiency of the educational process; 3) positive behavior and reasonable interrelation with colleagues, students and student groups; 4) positive professional orientation; 5) positive motivation for implementing tasks of the educational process; 6) professional psychological and pedagogical reliability have been grounded in the thesis. It was experimentally proved that social and economic deprivation of the scientific and pedagogical worker influences negatively his/her professional activity. The main directions of the negative changes as a result of the above mentioned impacts were elicited.
