Krasnopolska N. Sources and stages of formation of the Ukrainian terminology of management

The dissertation focuses upon the investigation of sources of forming of Ukrainian management terminology. It was characterized the principal reasons, tendencies and stages of its development. The present research revealed the nomination potential in forming of the Ukrainian terminology of management, determined the reasons and ways of borrowings, studied the adaptation of foreign terms in the Ukrainian language. The basic thematic groups of management terms are distinguished, functioning of terms is analyzed at the level of lexical paradigmatics: hypero-hyponymic, synonymic, antonymic, homonymic, paronymic connections between them. It was outlined the problems related to the improvement of modern Ukrainian terminology of management on orthographic, lexical and grammatical levels and elaborated practical recommendations for its normalization.
