The thesis is a complex research of the Ukrainian terminology of customs affairs. For the first time in Ukrainian linguistics the customs terminological system is distinguished, its links are traced with other sectoral term systems, it analyzes lexical-semantic processes and structurally grammatical characteristics, determines the specifics of a custom term, studies the types of terminological nomination in the custom terminology system, reveals the prospects for future codification of customs terms.
