Gorjanuj S. Voting rights as the object of the crime

The thesis is a comprehensive and systematic development of the concept of voting rights as the object of the crime. This paper studies the genesis of criminal legislation regarding to the protection of citizens' voting rights. The comparative legal analysis of the criminal legislation of Ukraine and foreign countries about responsibility for violation of voting rights was carried out. The content of the voting rights as the object of studied crimes was concreted and the mechanism of encroachment on them was specified. The essence of the subject and the victim in crimes against voting rights was defined, as well as a number of changes in their characteristics were proposed.
