The thesis is a comprehensive science research on Adoption Institute in the Family Law of Ukraine. The thesis studies the problem of concept, legal nature, essence and meaning of adoption as a leading form of care for orphans and children deprived of parental care. Discloses distinctions of arising legal relations for adoption and performs an in-depth study of the content of rights and duties of adopters and adoptees. Analyses common legal consequences that arise due to adoption. Studies the issue of reasons and consequences of cessation of adoption. Outlines an examination procedure for adoption in compliance with civil proceedings. Investigates legal relations for adoption in case adopters are foreign citizens and also legal bases for monitoring and supervision over observance of living conditions and upbringing of Ukrainian children adopted by foreigners.
