The thesis is aimed at studying the effects of educational conditions on the health of adolescents in the institutions of vocational training, belonging to the sphere of services, in order to substantiate the system of measures regarding health maintenance and improvement of professional adaptation of the students. The research deepens the notions on the characters of the educational environment in vocational institutions and adjustment to them of the teenagers of today. In the course of the thesis performance the author has investigated some socio-medical aspects of vocational self-determination of adolescents, their psycho-physiological and personality properties and emphasized the importance of socio-hygienic basis for maintaining health in the educational process and practical training of the students. Scientific novelty of the research, carried out by the author, is evaluated by the possibility to scientifically substantiate some psycho-hygienic approaches for the adoption of health-promoting measures in vocational schools as well as by recommendations for the hygienic optimization of teaching and training environment together with the action of occupational factors of low intensity. As a result of the work fulfillment, definition of the risk factors of teaching and training environment in the conditions of vocational schools has been improved. A novel algorithm for the objective determination of the risk factors impact on the health of adolescents, mastering professions in the sphere of services, has been worked out, and a novel technique for subjective estimation of the risk factors in teaching and training environment by adolescent students has been developed and tested.
