Bashtannyk O. Political-institutional paradigm as research strategy: modern condition and perspectives of development.

The object is political-institutional paradigm of political science. The aims are conceptualizing political-institutional paradigm epistemological status of political science at the present day and defining basic foundations and trends of the further development of it research strategy. The methods are paradigmatic approach, dialectical approach, describes and compares, interpretation of qualitative type, systemic and structural-functional analysis, methodology of synergy, case-study. Are concretized subject-methodological characteristics of these scientific paradigm specific areas: old institutionalism, theory of transition institutional analysis and new institutionalism. Is established heuristic potential of political-institutional paradigm, that can be realized by the study of political phenomena at several interrelated levels of analysis: development of supranational organizations, functioning of nation-states and civil society activities. Modern transformations of the subject field and methodological foundations of institutional analysis' matrix on the metatheoretical level is a reformatting program of research strategy, which is characterized by the prevalence of interdisciplinary researches the social-cultural aspects of subject's study. Scope - interaction of public authorities and civil society, functioning of supranational institutions, training courses.
