The object is the flat metal-waveguide and microwave devices based on it. The subject is wave processes and their properties in flat metal-waveguide and microwave devices. Research methods: the method of geometric electrodynamics - for the analysis of metal-plane waveguide; topological analysis method the development of field parameters and waveguide devices; computer simulation - the study of measurement and calibration equations; method of statistical tests the study of metrological characteristics of measuring complex reflection coefficients and transmission; experimental studies made transformers. Thesis results: engineering calculation methodology proposed optimal geometrical parameters of flat metal-waveguide operating in single-wave mode in the wake of the type H10; combined directional coupler, one of the channels is made on the basis PLMDW and the other on a standard PMW; designed, manufactured, tested and patented experimentally measuring elements are based on PLMDW: Harmonized load coaxial waveguide transition; designed, manufactured, tested experimentally and patented magnetic parameters PLMDW and elements constructed on this basis: meter complex reflection coefficients and transmission and double-wave meter wavelength in PLMDW; proposed and theoretically investigated metal-plane waveguide having a constructive simplicity and adaptability of production; conducted structural synthesis of waveguide devices, based on PLMDW and needed to create measuring their parameters; developed methods for constructing mathematical models and measuring complex reflection coefficients and transmission metal-planar waveguide devices based on the proposed combined directional coupler and double-wave meter wavelength PLMDW; proposed and examined algorithms for data processing and calibration parameters meter and waveguide devices.
