For the first time on the basis of theoretical and experimental research as a process in the aeration tanks dependence between the index and the physical parameters BOD5 filamentous bacteria and its control method is proposed based index BOD5. This approach allows you to quickly control the quality of the process of considering its kinetics. The mathematical dependence "transparency - COD" and based on it a method for quality control of waste water that allows you to quickly determine the chemical oxygen demand index. The mathematical dependence "transparency - the concentration of suspended solids" and on the basis of received further development of a method to quickly determine the concentration ratio of suspended solids. The developed principles and approaches of quantitative evaluation of the quality of the process in the aeration tanks, which are based on the measurement of physical parameters of filamentous bacteria, determining their length, diameter, volume (biomass), which provides a transition from qualitative to quantitative technical data. Principles and approaches of monitoring the implementation of environmental standards, which are based on an expanded range of indicators to take into account the number of business entities and contaminants.
